Asyiqin: At The Beach

The moon shone dazzlingly over the murky, shiny sea. I glimpsed at the moving shadows and ambled along the sandy shores while every stride made my feet sink into the damp sand. The seawater splashed my feet and I cursed because a tiny sea creature nipped my toe. I hurled the creature back into the deep and continued my serene leisurely walk. I could feel the tender wind blowing through my curls and I cursed once more because something the wind brought went into my eye. I was momentarily blinded so I smelt the saline air to direct me to the sea so that I could wash the debris off my eye. I felt more and more depressed due to my disappointing stroll on the beach so I headed home with a heavy sigh.
